Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 4, 2026
At CornJobs, we value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our website, services, and health monitoring tools.
1. Information We Collect
We only collect information that is necessary to provide you with active server pings and automated speed monitoring logs:
- Account Data: When you register on CornJobs, we store your name, email address, password hash, and verification status.
- Monitoring Configurations: We save the target URLs, scheduling intervals, and custom monitor names you configure.
- Analytics & Logs: We record response latency logs, status codes, and generated Google Lighthouse JSON/HTML reports associated with your registered monitors.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected details to run our background audit checks:
- To dispatch security verification codes (OTP) to your registered email address.
- To execute routine server latency pings and speed benchmarks according to your selected interval rules.
- To send automated alert emails if a monitored endpoint reaches your consecutive failure threshold.
- To maintain audit histories and real-time dashboard aggregates.
3. Data Storage & Security
All information is stored securely in our MongoDB instance with access restrictions. Sensitive data such as passwords are encrypted using bcrypt hashing protocols. Lighthouse HTML report data is isolated and kept at a minimal footprint to preserve system efficiency.
4. Your Rights & Deletion
You retain full ownership of your configured metrics. If you decide to delete a monitored job, all historical check logs, latency statistics, and stored Lighthouse HTML reports are permanently purged from our database. You can delete your account by contacting support.
